The Paper Mario series has brought us many great and unique characters. In Paper Mario and its sequel, The Thousand-Year Door, Mario gained several allies on his adventures that had unique abilities they utilized to battle alongside the hero. Many of these were unique versions of classic Mario enemies, such as Goombas and Koopa Troopas. Characters such as Goombario, Parakarry and Admiral Bobbery were among such characters, and they gave so much more depth to the ordinary species they were. There were also new species introduced, such as Vivian the Shadow Siren, and Flurrie the wind spirit. In addition, the series has brought us many other memorable characters such as Merlon, the Star Spirits, Dimentio, Doopliss, Goomba King, and Count Bleck. I think many of these characters are due for a comeback. Mario Kart 8 for Wii U is the perfect chance to bring back awesome Paper Mario icons, after they were so horribly insulted by the likes of Paper Mario: Sticker Star with little to no references to the previous games. Plus characters like Kooper would be much more interesting than bland generics like a normal Koopa. Make your voice heard and support Paper Mario characters for Mario Kart 8! Stop neglecting the RPGs, Nintendo, they are Mario games, too!
