PANTYHOSE OR BARE LEGS? That's today’s women and their men dilemma around the world. Are bare legs more desirable? Most men and many women say no. In today's casual attitudes on personal attire, many women have peeled off their pantyhose and it is now very common to see bare legs almost 100% of the time. Why? Yet the transition has highlighted a generational divide. For women who wore hosiery before the 1990s, hose were considered as necessary as underwear. But many recent women have never worn panty hose at all. Disappointing for sure. "Younger women don't even think about panty hose" and what a shame this is. Leg-length to height ratio is the greater part of the human body. With a pair of LEGGS or HANES pantyhose a women easily makes a large portion of their body even more attractive. Considering the use of make up on the face and neck such as lip stick, mascara, rouge and eye shadow its is less expensive to dress up ones legs as it were, in color, texture and the hiding of any imperfections. This recent change in attitude in dress codes where the wearing of hose by females optional with both business and business casual has become a less than welcome change to many. Standards based on what was generally and widely accepted as the professional dress standard consistent with party and professional appearance have changed. The reason for this change is a result of what only those who have approved the change can tell us. Pantyhose does enhance a woman's professional and personal appearance and should be the preferred choice for upwardly mobile business women and casual attire when going to special events. When and where should women wear pantyhose under skirts, dresses, shorts, skorts or pants -- or should they wear them at all? Some companies still required "pantyhose" at all times -- even under pants "nylon hose and dress shoes are to be worn at all times," If there is a male equivalent of panty hose -- forcing wearers to balance comfort and formality -- it is probably the tie. If this is the sacrifice men must make to see more women wearing pantyhose it is believed that most would do that.As for fairness, it's hard to say whether ties or panty hose are more uncomfortable.
