We, the undersigned, would like to declare our support for the hiring of Dr. Pamela S. Nicolle as the new Executive Director of the User Support and Student IT Enablement (USS) unit within LSU Information Technology Services (ITS). We feel that Dr. Nicolle's working knowledge of LSU's political, economical and social interactions would be impossible to replace. Additionally, each of the undersigned are currently under Dr. Nicolle's supervision as interim Executive Director of USS and it is our belief that her strong leadership, effective management strategies, fostering of new ideas, and exemplary moral compass has directly lead to an increase in productivity as well as a wider campus awareness of the range and depth of services we offer. 

We understand that there are many qualified applicants for this position and we know that the committee will perform it's due diligence in selecting and interviewing the best of those that have applied. We feel that it is important for the committee to know that Dr. Nicolle already has the unwavering support of her staff and that we would very much like to see her installed into the position on a permanent basis.
