Name: Leanne D'Andrea on Aug 7, 2008Comments: There are many people who "care" about the Palace murals. If the developers had no intention of honoring the agreement, there needs to be a legal consequence for that. Photos of those murals grace my office in Slat Lake City, and I've been waiting to see them restored. Perhaps they don't understand how this is good for them too! L. D'Andrea, UtahFlag

Name: Don Weisman on Aug 7, 2008Comments: These murals are a key part of Asbury Park's history, a history that has often been tossed away in the name of false hopes. If other parts of that unique history had been preserved, the town would today have the building blocks for a healthy rebirth that would draw people from around the world. Don't allow these last remnents of Asbury's storied past to follw the fate of the building on which they once appeared, the Mayflower Theater, the Casino (which from my last visit to the area appears destined for a similar fate), and other landmarks that made this community stand apart. Recognize and preserve the city's heritage.Flag
