This is to request the President of Pakistan who is also the patron in chief of Pakistan Cricket Board to look into the matters of Pakistan cricket team. The chairman of the cricket board Mr Ejaz Butt has been solely responsible for the downfall of Pakistan Cricket Team. His personal likes and dislike, ego problems and abrupt decision making strategy has hurt Pakistan cricket to the greatest extent possible. Our existing batting line up is performing even worse then cricketing minnows like Bangladesh. The test team that was selected for the tour of England is missing experienced players like Younis Khan. This is because Mr Butt the PCB chairman wants Younis Khan to submit an apology. Although Younis was cleared of any misdoing by the review judge but the fact that he did not apologize to the chairman has prompted PCB to not select Younis for the test team. This is not only injustice to Younis but is a great disservice to Pakistan cricket and its fans all over the world. Young and talented cricketers like Fawad Alam have been dropped from the team for unknown reasons. Fawad is the only young cricketer in Pakistan who averages above 55 in first class cricket. His international averages are much better than any of the existing batsman in the playing eleven against England. We fans are frustrated and sad that Pakistan despite of having very talented players is suffering because of Mr Butt's failed policies and unwanted interference in selection of team and captain. Mr Butt is the chairman and has no right to interfere in the selection matters which should be solely handled by selection committee. We hope that you will look into this matter. In case you leave this issue unattended the Pakistan cricket will continue to suffer as it has been for last 2 years.
