Paisley is a small town just outside of Glasgow, and it offers very little to those that are not interested in football. In the area my friends and myself live in there are two astro-turf pitches, 4 grass and 2 small concrete ones all within a 5-15 minute walk. There is very little else for others to do, especially for people like us that are interested in parkour or fitness, and the facilities that are there require us to be in a club, we can't simply pay and go in. There are no safe places for us and others to practice and train as it is either private property or like most places in Paisley, covered in glass and too dangerous to train at. This petition is to try and gather x amount of signings to try and show the council that enough people would want a safe facility to train at and have a good time without being forced to leave.
