    Comments: true paint ball is a good sport not intended to be life treating. but jails and police around the us use these guns with pepper spray or rubber balls and at a close enough ranage they can do damage. if hit with a hard rubber ball meant for defense in the face with in say 50feet it will mess you up and put you down. in las vegas at the gun shows they sell many types of these balls meant for defending your self. some of these balls have a steel core and crack a skull. they can be sold to the public (at least in vegas)and they are meant for non life taking actions. so to say they are not for defense is nor right or wrong it just depends on how you use it.
