We, as concerned citizens, come to you with this petition to request
absolute transparency regarding the lethal injection process in
Texas. Many of us have tried to access this information and have run
into brick walls at every turn.
If you truly feel the death penalty is a decent punishment, why
maintain such a veil of secrecy on "legal" killings ?
And if we are to believe that this legal killing is painless, why then have veterinarians refused to use it on animals ?
Absolute transparency will prove that our government has nothing to
hide and nothing to fear from this process, which Texas enforces more
than other state in the country.
As citizens of the free world, we are entitled to those answers, we
expect no less from those elected to voice our concerns and to
address them in the best possible time.
We ask you to give this matter your urgent attention and we look
forward to hearing the truth about the Texas killing machine.
