Petition for expanded beer and wine sales in Pennsylvania

The petition

We, the citizens of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, petition the General Assembly to allow expanded alcoholic beverage sales within the state.

The signers of this petition

• believe liquor laws in this state are too conservative and trail behind the rest of the nation.

• would like to see beer and wine available for sale in Supermarkets, Convenience Stores, and in Beverage Distributors.

• do not want to be forced to buy beer by the case at a distributor, or be forced to buy 6-packs only in bars at inflated prices.

• want to purchase a variety of wines where we buy our food.

• demand freedom of choice and an abolishment of the state controlled monopoly on wine sales.

• believe consumers in Pennsylvania are being held hostage by special interest groups who want to control the distribution of alcohol in this state.
