The people that have signed this petition believe that the ban of body paint is an incredulous offense to the students and fans of high schools in Chesapeake. These students, be them males or females, and/or other community members fully support this petition and are asking the school administration to repeal this ban. It will damper the spirit and support for local schools and consequently decrease the amount of attendees at football games, therefore reducing the revenue for our local schools. We as students and members of the community should be encouraged to support our school by conveying as much school spirit as possible and denying us this opportunity will lead to future decline of this new-found school spirit in the district.
