This petition demands regulation of bank overdraft fees.
Banks charge high overdraft fees to consumers. These are unauthorized fees from unfair business practices, generating billions of dollars in profits for the bank, while putting further financial strain on the consumer. There is a need, a concern and a demand amongst consumers for regulation involving a limit on the maximum allowable charge of overdraft fees, or policy to eliminate the service all together.
