They even caused overdrafts and disconnected her twice. This unethical company (they make Enron look clean) needs to be permanently shut down forever unless they clean up their act.Flag

Name: Jarad Jenks on Jun 16, 2005State:Country: ITComments: I am in the US navy and have recently been shipped overseas. Shortly after transferring my wife, who is in the states, recieved a bill over $700. After taking to Cingular and reviewing our bill history we realized that they were chargibg us for our Mobil to Moble that we prepaid for, charged us for my wifes phone to call itself and have been overcharging by $20 a month. When my wife adressed these issues cingular returned $120 of the overcharges but refused to reciede the M2M charges. They said that even though it is in my contract that we have free M2M that I did not initial next to that feature, so I never had it. Now how is this possible I have had their services for over a year and heve never been charged for M2M, and the sells rep at the store even said that it would not be in the contract if I didn't have it. BEWARE of cingular, and be sure that I will have my legal department look into this.Flag

Name: Ginny Gonzalez on Oct 3, 2005State: NJCountry: USComments: Cingular is billing me unfairly. The so they say tower is not sending them the right numbers that I am supposedly dialing and using up my minuets. I mainly talk mobile to mobile with family. We are very careful with our minutes. The first month we had a problem with a number showing up on our bill and we were no fimiliar with it at all. So I called and questioned the number and they told me that it was an AT&T mumber and that it shouild not even use my minutes. Oh it gets better. The number when dialed it not a working number. So I have to say they gave me a credit. Now the following month I get my bill and this number is all over the pages. Now I have four cell phones in my house. So I call them again and complain. Now they want to try and tell me that this number is a tower number and that it is not putting in the numbers that I am dialing. Ok. The Technician tells me that they verified the calls and that I have made them. Now these calls are placed two to three calls or more on the same date, within one, two three minutes of each other and some at the same time and date while on with another number. Its really confusing but I told them if they can verify that I made these calls, I want proof. Well, guess what the answer was. Sorry, we cannot do that. So I am supposed to trust them and pay for all this overage charge that I know we did not use. So now they are trying to offer me to pay half and I feel if I do that I am saying that they are right. I thought that by law they have to give your proof. They will not work with you at all. Biggest mistake I ever did was switching to AT&T which is now Cingular. They will never admit that possibly something went wrong while doing this whole switchover. I have no problems paying the overage if I did so. But all I am asking for is proof and they will not give it to me. That"s wrong. Thank you.Flag

Name: Griselda Diaz on Dec 2, 2005State:Country:Comments: I had an account with AT&T and all was well. I was happy with their services and their billing charges were fair. Everything changed drastically as soon as Cingular took over AT&T as I began to receive billing charges of, first, $30 more, then $50, then $100 more, and the last one is $300 more than what I used to receive from AT&T. I would like to know where can I get help to file a formal complaint against Cingular Wireless. Any help will be greatly appreciate it.Flag

They offered to put me on the 1350 at minutes plan at $79.99 while they verify that the charges are not mine. Ah!! I asked if this was a problem of mine only or everyone, and she said everyone. I said that the charges of 45 cents a minute are unreal and higher than prepaids. She promissed to call me back next week. Is this a corporate planFlag

They say I went over my minutes by 200 minutes when I had 750 anytime minutes, so I up'd that to the "only" other plan they had 1400 minutes... thats almost DOUBLE! And, somehow I again went over my minutes! Thats impossible. I work! I have a life! I was not on the phone alll day, everyday, for the last month (as the bill would make one think). This is so frustrating!Flag

Name: Kathryn Bloxsom on Sep 29, 2006State: FLCountry: USComments: My recent statement had hundreds of calls on it that I did not make. I was first told that two of the phones on my account had been "cloned". Cingular then informed me that their phones could not be cloned and that I had made the calls and should increase my minutes. I am confident they intend to do nothing about it. I would love to see Cingular be held accountable.Flag

Name: Cindy Junk on Oct 2, 2006State: TXCountry: USComments: Cingular is charging me "follow-me" minutes which they claim is caused by another tower picking up the signal. I have talked to them several times regarding this and am unable to get it resolved. There are also phone calls to unknown numbers and 411 charges that we did not call. Cingular is ALWAYS right, there is no way to fight them without the "Big Dogs". Therefore, I am calling the "Big Dogs". Thank you.Flag
