Name: Beverly Emerson on Feb 2, 2004State: VACountry: USComments: I live in Henry County, VA. At least half of this county is unemployed due to this issue. Because we don't have the industry to take care of our community; they are now consolidating schools & shutting some of them down, too. So our kids who are supposed to be our future are being punished now.Flag

Name: Pam Michaud on Nov 5, 2004State: AZCountry: USComments: Between "Reaganomics" and Yuppies, this country is not going to have a middle class. Kids need a decent home life and it shouldn't take both parents to keep food on the table. I have a feeling that prices wouldn't be so terrible if shipping costs and jobs were kept within the country. It breaks my heart to see what's happened to this country and it's family units.Flag

Name: Linda Zacniewski on Jan 8, 2005State: PACountry: USComments: The worst part of this is that U.S. people expect to get attacted again from foreign terrorests', and the fact is our own American CEO's are doing a pretty good job of attacking everything about America. They have loyalty only to money,we work hard, and they take even our dignity. People, they are out of control. Long live the American way,but please,do you have to take everything from the little guybFlag

Name: Dennis Kelsaw on Feb 20, 2005State: MOCountry: USComments: I along with 300 tax paying fellow workers have lost our jobs due to the plant moving to Mexico and China. NAFTA is unfair because it does not promote fair trade just free trade. Countries we trade with must adopt a reasonable minimum wage close to ours in order for it to be fair trade.Flag

Name: William Link on Feb 28, 2005State: ILCountry: USComments: I have watched jobs go to other couNtries because of NAFTA. I have watched many of our customers loose their jobs because of NAFTA. I can no longer buy good quality products made in the good ol' USA because of NAFTA. Initially things seemed less expensive when purchased in the stores when these foreign goods came into our country, but that was very short-lived. The CEO's of these companies quickly raised the price of their goods. So now I am not any further ahead by the end of my paycheck, if anything i have lost. The goods I purchase for both me and my customers do not last as long or perform as well, consequently I have really lost ground. Because of NAFTA, my annual income has dropped by 20%. NAFTA SUCKS! LET'S ABOLISH IT AND BRING OUR AMERICAN PRODUCTS AND JOBS BACK HOME. Screw the rest of the world! If they want their country to be like our country, then let them change it by themselves. THE LEADERS OF OUR COUNTRY HAVE SOLD OUT THE MIDDLE AND LOWER CLASS PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WITH NAFTA. IN MY OPINION IT MAY BE TIME FOR A REVOLUTION TO BRING OUR COUNTRY BACK TO THE SAME VALUES AND EQUALITIES OUR FOREFATHERS INTENDED.Flag
