WE, THE UNDERSIGNED, ARE AWARE...

-Phil Hare, a democratic congressman representing the 17th District in Illinois, displays disregard to the Constitution, a direct violation of Article 6 of the United States Constitution.

-Article 6 of the United States Constitution says:
The Senators and Representatives ... shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution...

-In response to a constituent who asked "Where in the Constitution...".
Hare cuts him off to say "I don't worry about the Constitution on this to be honest." He goes further to say "I believe [the Constitution] says we have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." The other problem? It's the Declaration of Independence that mentions life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, not the Constitution. He is corrected by his constituents and he says "It doesn't matter."

The constituent asks "Where in the Constitution does it give you the authority to..."
He is cut off again by Hare, who says "I don't know. I don't know. But by the end of the day I want to bring insurance to every person who lives in this country."

AS SUCH WE, THE UNDERSIGNED, SUPPORT THE RESIGNATION OR REMOVAL OF PHIL HARE FROM OFFICE.
