Our Future - Our Vote - Our Decision NOW! More than a year ago, AFA promised the Delta flight attendants that the union would file for and hold our representational election by the end of summer 2009. In August 2009, over seven months after ALPA filed for their vote, AFA finally petitioned for the election, but then withdrew their application, claiming that the election process was unfair - despite the fact that AFA knew exactly what the rules were at the time, and had functioned under those rules for numerous other elections. We flight attendants have now lost out on more than a year’s worth of improvements due to AFA’s stall tactics, and the clock is still ticking. How much longer will AFA continue to hold us hostage? AFA - we're tired of waiting! We're ready for improvements. We’re ready to move forward and away from concessions, and we demand the right to decide our future NOW! We the undersigned demand that AFA re-file for the representational election TODAY!
