Now i love stargate as much as the next person, but Atlantis isn't Stargate. The cast they had going for Atlantis was awesome, they acted off each other amazingly! Another thing, Rodney worked so well off of Beckett. Things wont be the same. Who's Rodney going to kiss now! This is going to sound harsh but i don't think i even want to watch the show with out Beckett. I watch Atlantis for Atlantis, I watch Stargate for Stargate. They too me are completely different shows. I don't want to see Atlantis become a Stargate wanna be. I refuse to watch the show anymore if that's what is going to start happening.
