The petition

To TPTB for SGA

Carson and Paul's popularity among we fans prompted you to add him to the main credits only a Season ago; What are you thinking?? I implore you to reconsider!! Apart from anything else, I think you are better than the use of this tired old trick of cheap drama and plot manipulation; How many characters have been killed off similarly, in recent years, toward the end of a Season?? Don't think we fans and the general viewing public haven't noticed, and been adversely affected by this habit you're developing..!

PLEASE, make an effort to keep Paul and his character in Stargate: Atlantis!!!

Doctor Carson Beckett is portrayed wonderfully by actor Paul McGillion, and both he and his character deserve more time in the cast of Stargate: Atlantis; The show is strengthened by their presence, by the interaction they provide (!) with main cast and guest stars alike; Beckett brings humanity and reality to the screen, integrity, both gentility and surprising strength, compassion (as showcased with Rodney, Teyla, Elizabeth, and John, at various points, as well as Ford & others')frustration, trepidation, a warm reminder of home, and hilarity (especially when paired with Rodney McKay!)
