   Comments: As a new owner/resident in this area, I have joined the dog park and have volunteered on both "official" and unofficial clean-up days. I'm grateful for the new friends I've met in our community, for the opportunity to add my work to the development of our community park and for the sense of belonging that my involvement with the dog park and the larger OurPark organization have allowed for. I believe that a community works best when all members of the community are involved --not just a select few leaders. I realize the challanges posed by working with as many others as possible to improve the community; but the more diversified the input, the voices, the number of participants, the ideas and goals -- the better and more inclusive will the outcome be... Please, do not engage in the politics of power and forced persuasion here in our community. We've seen the damage that these tatics have inflicted on a national scale - let's not repeat the same mistakes here in Fairmount/Spring Garden and Francisville!
