We, the undersigned, call our Congress members to shift America's budget priorities toward values more reflective of the goodness of the American people and our concerns for the world, the environment, our fellow citizens, ourselves, and future generations. Specifically, our concerns include these: - America's military budget is too large; indeed, it is half of world military spending. - Health Care Reform - including a public option - is critically important to millions of Americans, both those with insurance and those without, and to our economy. - The greening of America - particularly with regards to energy use and production - is crucially important to the environment, our national economy, and future generations.
