Please help us! I live in the city of Mayfield Heights,Ohio. I have been here 10 years. For the past 5 years several neighbors have used the police and the city council to constantly harass us about our animals. The complaints have been; "your dogs are staring at me","your dogs are telepathically trying to destroy me","your dogs jump up and down too much","your dogs look mean", etc. Numerous times we have had police respond and NOT ONE TIME was there an issue with noise,barking,howling,jumping,biting,aggression,etc etc. In 2010 our wolf dog had puppies that we were going to sell. The city has a law that only 2 dogs are allowed. Needless to say we couldn't sell them all and were just going to keep them and move. I know you see wolf and think there is a reason for harassment. NO. These wolfdogs have been here for years Until she had puppies and an ad was placed in the paper was it known what they were. .It never had anything to do with what they were. It got to the point where an attorney was involved and we went to court numerous times. Needless to say weve had 2 dogs in the backyard since relocating our wolf dogs in May of this year. But the harassment continues. These neighbors will not quit. My 2 dogs in the backyard never do anything wrong! People cannot be allowed to use civic resources to harass others!
