Any and all local agencies, including counties, cities,school and special districts also applies to any and all boards. That is any board, commission committee, task force, consultants or other advisory body created by the agency, whether permanent or temporary must post in local newspapers as well as department website any and all meetings/events. This must be done a minimum of two consecutive weeks prior to any and all meetings/events , clearly stating date, time, location, and agenda. Local radio public service annoucements also must be broadcast a minimum of two weeks prior to the meeting /event. If this is not done, a fine of $1000 per day will be levied on each member of offending agency. Fines will and must be paid by offenders, not public funds. Persons with outstanding fines may not serve in any capacity dealing with the public trust.
