The Chicago Park District finally backed down and Coach Juan is staying exactly where he belongs at Harrison Park. We forced them to listen to our community instead of moving our people around like chess pieces. Keep your eyes open because we are not letting them try this nonsense again.

Dear Friends,
We're told that our Coach Juan Rosillo would be transferred to another Chicago Park District this coming season. Juan has be Head of our Piranhas Family at Harrison Park in this community for a long time. Coach Juan has been at Harrison Park 1824 s Wood St, since 1999 and has done so much for our kids at Harrison Park. He has purchased swimming equipment out of his own money for our kids. Coach Juan has taught so many kids how to swim with the help of his staff. He himself grew up in Pilsen and is well known by the community. Coach Juan is a very hardworking person with a big heart always giving a hand to help others.

The Chicago Park District is banking on us getting tired and quiet but they clearly do not know this neighborhood. We are approaching five hundred signatures so get this link to everyone in your contacts right now. Do not let these bureaucrats think they can just push Coach Juan out of our park without a fight.

This coach is awesome with the kids. He has been a primary denominator in the overall success of the swim program. He has taught all 5 of my nieces and nephews how to swim and now 3 are on the swim team. The hispanic community needs this wonderful coach.
Es muy buen coach, no es justo que lo cambien. Nosotros llevamos a nuestros hijos desde la kedzie y archer solo por el, pudiendonos quedar en el parque de la curie o la kelly pero No! Nosotros viajamos cada dia en semana para que el coach los entrene.
According to the Park District's mission statement they "prioritize the needs of children and families," something coach Rosillo has been doing for the community with his unique passion for coaching. This shows the amount of gratitude Eric Fischer and Ann Cordes have for his hard work.
Living in a community such as Pilsen, Juan has not only been a role model, but also an individual who has helped younger generations such as myself from the danger on the streets with his swim team! he has and always will be the face of Harrison Park Pool
He has taught the students that hard work payoffs. The discipline they gave learn only comes from a person who disciplines himself to give it his all when working with the children and the young adults. He has become a father figure to some of these children.
I hope Juan continuous at Harrison park he is the best coach that my child had.

Coach Juan's guidance helped me become the person I am today: a first-generation college graduate that now works for a top consulting firm. Keep Juan in Harrison park so our community can keep benefiting from his leadership.
