Have you been plauged by this cruel window? Does it mock you as you, as you walk by with a confused expression? Are you tired of taking the long way around, when a door would solve everything? Then sign this petition!

The windows on the 1st floor of the OSU Valley Library, frustratingly lead directly to all of your caffeine and food related needs while studying here, yet you must walk up and across the 2nd floor of the library, just to then descend a second set of stairs to the cafe.

This petition serves as a way to collect the signatures of students at Oregon State University (OSU) who support the following, pertaining to the Valley Library:
      1. Replace the windows on the 1st floor with locking double doors.
      2. Install Security Detectors just after entering the building from these doors.
      3. Add a desk to be placed directly next to the new double doors/security detectors.
      4. Employ the necessary number of students to have the desk staffed for the duration of the day that these doors are unlocked.
      5. Keep these doors open subject to the same hours as the cafe (Doors to be closed and locked after the cafe closes)

The reasoning given for not installing doors here is for security. Let's fix that by adding the equivalent security measures of our 2nd floor access, and remove the frustration of these tortuous windows.
