But it was promoted as a once in a lifetime, never to happen again event! I didn't want to miss out! Then they announced a "world tour" that did not include the USA. Isn't the USA where they got their start? I'm financially strapped and I'm unable to travel all over the world or even the USA to see the Osmonds, but would like to see some US dates added. | 500 | LaVerne Burke | When I was growing up in the 70's I was a Jackson 5 fan however, I like the Osmonds too. Not as much as the J-5 but I liked them. As I grew older I found myself really liking the Osmonds alot more; I saw the great talent that they all posessed. I got to see them perform here in Columbus, Ohio at the Ohio Theater along with my sister and a friend in the 1980's. We really enjoyed seeing them! My sisters and brothers and my friend still to this day like seeing them. Heck, we even love them! Some of our relatives and friends are shocked that we like them so much because we are African-Americans. We tell them that we recognize talent we see it! I am hoping that one day I'll be able to see them perform here again. I tried to get tickets to see them in Las Vegas, but the tickets were so expensive. If they are able to tour the USA, I hope the ticket prices we'll be reasonable because I truely want to see them again. | OH | US |
