Oro Valley Skate/BMX/Scooter Park

We need a skate park in Oro Valley because there is nothing to ride around here so no one can get better staying local. If we have a skate park here, in Oro Valley, we would save a lot of money on gasoline and you wouldn't have to risk your car breaking down in a dangerous neighborhood. The skate park will also keep kids active and will make a safer environment because the kids will not risk being hit by cars trying to look for something to do on their bikes, skateboards, or scooters. It will benefit the residents of Oro Valley because kids wont be destroying property by trying to ride things that look interesting in other peoples front yard and kids would be off the street, so it will be easier to drive to your destination without hitting a kid or a kid getting in your way and slowing you down to get to where you need to be. Those are some of the main reasons why we need a skate park in Oro Valley. Thank you for reading this and please sign this for the kids and the adults here in Oro Valley.

  • Duncan hogan I was born in Tucson az and have spent my entire life here, I started skateboarding when I was about 9 and my parents started taking me to continental ranch skatepark. That's where I spent almost all of my childhood and as I got older I got bored of skateboarding and switched to bmx. I love riding my bike and it is my life. But there really is a major lack in bmx support in Tucson. When conti first opened it was skateboards only, santarita is skateboards only, and so is Redrock. Lucky for us we had Ian to build us premises but that's almost 25 min away from my house and commuting there is a bare. A skatepark in oro valley would benifit the whole community, it would be a way shorter commute for me and many of my fellow bikers. The bmx scene is getting bigger and bigger each year and without an adiquite numbers of parks kids are forced to ride on the streets and risk the danger of being hit by a car. A skate park in Oro valley would benift everyone from skateboards to scooter riders to bikers and even the Dailey commuter who doesn't want to hit a kid riding his bike on the streets because he doesn't have a skatepark to go to.

  • Lynn Hudson Good fun for all (bikes, skateboards, roller skates, scooters...)!

  • Gabriel Ison I need a park
