Whereas citizen involvement is the foundation of our representative government, and
Whereas the undersigned call Central Florida their home, and
Whereas three dynamic new downtown projects; a new Performing Arts Center, a new Events Center, and a renovated Citrus Bowl, are under consideration by Orange County and the City of Orlando in the coming weeks, and
Whereas we strongly support these initiatives as set forth by our citizen leaders.
Therefore, we respectfully encourage you to approve all three downtown community venue projects, thereby creating the public facilities our community so desperately needs and so richly deserve. Thank you for your leadership in making downtown Orlando a world-class city for generations to come.
