OREM PROPERTY TAX INCREASE: Right now the city plans to raise property taxes and build the Center for Story. We feel that the citizens should get a chance to vote on such a tax increase as well as vote on whether or not the city should build the Center for Story. These questions can be on your election ballot. The Orem City Council has until August 23, 2012 to put these Orem City questions on your November 6, 2012 General Election Ballot. We are putting together a petition to the Orem City Council urging them to let you (the Taxpayer) vote on the city tax increase on November 6, 2012.
