WHEREAS the only land that Congress is allowed to exercise its jurisdiction over is 100 contiguous square miles called the District of Columbia and certain other specified and limited amounts of additional land to build forts and ports and other needful buildings on…
We the undersigned petitioners request our representatives in the Oregon State Legislature to take all immediate and effective measures to end the Federal occupation and control of all land within our State’s sovereign borders.
We further demand the immediate return by sale, transfer, or otherwise of all existing Federal and Public Land within Oregon when appropriate to individual residents of Oregon to use as they see fit in accordance with existing State and local land use laws or in the event that this is not possible to the respective counties in which these lands are located.
This Petition is for Oregon residents only.

Philip A. Jaster, Cheshire, Oregon, United Staes of America Oregon Lands for Oregonians Only. No Federal BLM Jurisdiction, No U.S. Dept. of Forestry.
All of these public lands should be ceded to the county were it is located so the people who love the land the most and are most affected by its administration can manage it properly.
You forgot to remind them that under the Constitution the federal government is forbidden to own any land other then for military bases and the 10 squares miles around DC.
fed gov needs to let go of the west. we know how to take care of our own backyards better than some bureaucrat in dc ever could.
The Federal Government is stealing our land, mishandling it, and making crony deals with foreign companies.
THE FIDERAL GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT BE OWNING LAND

Free all Patriot's who stood in protests of federal over-reach! Compensate those patriots for all costs associated with their illegal imprisonment, to include lost wages.
