    Comments: I grew up in the Donelson area and spent much of my childhood and teenage years at Opryland. It was a crying shame that it was torn down to make way for a mall. Although I now live out of state, I would have continued to visit Opryland several times a year if it had stayed open.

Most of my memories of Opryland as a kid were of family time.Good fun quality time together.It has been missed not only by natives but visitors and the economy has really missed it.

    Comments: I'm 15 and I barely remember when my family took me to Opryland USA. I will never forget those vague memories, they are very close to my heart. Opryland USA was a great family park, it wasn't overcrowded with fowl mouth gangs, it was family fun. Nashville needs to bring Opryland USA back, or ar least a new amusement park. This one had a history, and had a country music theme, which Nashville is known for. BRING IT BACK!!!!

    Comments: My family and I went to Opryland EVERY YEAR when I was younger and I am so upset that it closed. Opryland will always be a memory of my childhood and of my parents...especially my dad who always rode every ride with me even when he was older!! BRING IT ALL BACK!!!! What a wonderful place it was and I'd like to take my kids there!!!

    Comments: My first trip to Opryland was on my 7th birthday the year it opened. I will never forget that day. The year it closed I had a seasons pass & went often. I loved the old west area & the DooWop area. Halloween & Chritmas was a great time to go. I loved the joy I would feel there. I am putting together pictures and articles about the park in hopes of makeing a realy nice book. I would like any help I could get with this. It was the best place to visit in Nashville! Bring Back Our Opryland!

    Comments: It's unfortunate that someone with enough money to buy Opryland feels like they need to tear it down to MAKE MORE MONEY BY BUILDING A MALL. That was one of those places that every teenager should have worked at least one summer. Wonderful memories and as great as it would be, another Opryland wouldn't be the same because it would never be exactly like the old one. Sure would like to see one though.

    Comments: I miss OPRYLAND BIG TIME. It was my favorite place to visit when visiting Nashville. I think its so sad how they closed it down. I miss it so much. Sometimes it even brings tears to my eyes. Why tear it down for some mall. They could have built that mall everywhere. People who sold it..money hungry. Its sad to the ones that loved Opryland. I want them to bring it back. Build another park just like it in replica of it. SometimesI just cry thinking about it. Why oh why. Please bring back Opryland if not in another place in town!

    Comments: i have been heartbroken ever since 1997 when gaylord tore down opryland. oh, how i would love to go back to that time. there were a lot of good memoris that we all made there. many family pictures that the world took while there. i know that nashville can bring a opryland back!

    Comments: I started going to Opryland when I was 5 years old in 1975, and had been every year since then now that I have children it is disappointing that they can't enjoy it as I did. Nashville lost a lot of money in tourism when they closed it. It's pretty sad what happened to some of the rides and that so many employees lost their jobs. I wish opryland could come back we need something closer to us than what is available now.
