Name: Lisa Peyton-Caire on Nov 4, 2005State: MDCountry: USComments: I wholeheartedly support the effort to nominate Oprah for the Nobel Peace Prize! Not only is Oprah an American icon; she is an international icon revered for her achievements, tenacity, and grace through life's obstacles, and moreover for her limitless generosity. She continues to bridge the cultural divide in America and abroad, and her domestic and international efforts to eliminate barriers to human potential are too numerous to cite (i.e. her support of youth & education in the U.S., her assistance to Hurricane Katrina victims, to poor, displaced, and AIDS/HIV affected children and women in South Africa, and to ordinary American citizens, etc., etc.). There is no candidate more deserving of this great honor. Please count my vote of support. Lisa Peyton-Caire Bowie, MD, USAFlag
