Our Town of Geddes is considering a ZONING CHANGE to allow Commercial Development in the West Genesee Corridor (the area from the bypass on-ramp at Fairmount east to Fay Road.)

This change would allow:
• The houses along West Genesee Street to be turned into commercial properties with no residential requirement

We object to this change on the grounds that:
• The character of our Westvale Neighborhood would be forever changed
• Homes changed to businesses would erect signage
• There would be increased traffic
• Backyards would be paved to become parking lots
• There would be increased light and noise pollution
• Residential properties would be bordered by businesses
• There would be no “life” in these houses after 5pm
