We the undersigned OPPOSE the Delmarva Power (PEPCO HOLDINGS COMPANY) proposal to build high voltage transmission lines (Mid-Atlantic Power Pathway) MAPP through our communities. These lines are being constructed to supply electric power beyond the borders of our region, at our significantly disproportionate expense.
Our opposition is based, in part, on the irreplaceable loss of farm land, the negative impact to our quality of life that includes: Safety Risks, Health Concerns, Environmental Damage, Forest Damage, Deterioration of Property Values, and Higher Electrical Costs all in the name of Profit for a few.
