As a member of the community, I strongly support keeping the housing on the blocks immediately north of 62nd Street and East of First Avenue zoned for PS 183. This includes three large residential buildings that are central to our community on East 63rd Street: Faculty House, Scholars' House, and Sutton Terrace. I strongly oppose any plan that would rezone those buildings or other buildings on those blocks to be outside the PS 183 zone.

 PS 183 is located in the heart of the academic community that is composed of Rockefeller University, Weill-Cornell Medical Center, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. It is an anchor for families in our community. The most recent draft zoning plan would fracture our community, moving a large number of working families into the 267 Zone, while leaving many others from the same community still in 183. Please do not fracture my community.
