We, the undersigned owners of property affected by this zoning change, request denial of re-zoning from R-1 (low density Residential), O-I (Office-Institutional) to TR (Townhouse Residential), at the density proposed by the developer (76 townhouses). This property adjoins neighborhoods currently zoned R-3 (DoubleGate) and R4 (Cameron Forest), and a school zoned R-1. We respectfully request any change in zoning to include conditions that create a gradual transition from the surrounding properties. We believe the currently requested zoning would negatively affect the value of our homes, increase area traffic, and put pressure on adjacent schools. Further, such high density zoning would set a precedent for the approximate 26 acres directly across State Bridge Road, magnifying these negative impacts.
