Oppose River Walk High Density Condos

We oppose allowing a second high density, low income/affordable housing unit being approved within the Church Hill Road, Washington Ave, Walnut Tree location. With a third low/affordable income housing unit being proposed on Walnut Tree Hill surrounding residents property values will be severely impacted. To say nothing of the negative environmental as well as traffic implications.

A precedent has already been set so why not build 100 or 200 units? Will greedy developers begin to use eminent domain for "private use", as they did in the Fort Trumbull neighborhood of New London? Such an expansion as this cannot be allowed for it will clearly destroy the character of the neighborhood, and we may well lose our homes.
Terrible idea. It will ruin the village of Sandy Hook. What about the impact on the schools?. Traffic would be unmanageable.
Totally against this for all the reasons stated.
75 units in the middle of Sandy Hook? You're kidding, right? This started at about 24 units. How did it get to 75?

The intersection of Washington Ave and Church Hill Road is very difficult to navigate. When school is in session, it becomes even more difficult. We are against a 74 unit housing development on many levels but especially because of the negative environmental issues added to the dangerous traffic.
