I do not oppose stricter back ground checks to ensure guns do not get into the hands of criminals and mentally ill people. However the new gun laws on mag limits and assault weapons is completely not thought out and flawed. in the last week it may have forced putting many of these guns into the wrong hands, and better arming the criminals. New York State has made me feel like a criminal over night. It has stripped me of something i took very seriously as an enthusiast, collector , and sport with the utmost respectful safety sense for different type of fire arms. I am very disappointed in our state, government, and people who truly do not understand. I don't think I am being extreme by saying don't blame the guns. Education and strict screening will be the only way to control an already saturated country with arms. Let's not punish the good people to only make the bad people stronger. Dan OliverFlag
