We, the undersigned, as residents in the area surrounding the subject property identified as tax parcel numbers 17-13-12-00-00-002.000 and 17-13-12-000-00-006.000 and commonly referred to as the "Monon Lake PUD" are vehemently opposed to the approval of a rezoning of this property from R-1/Residence to a PUD/Planned Unit Development. Further, we support the preservation of this site as an undeveloped area, supporting wildlife, forestation, and the peace we enjoy in our neighborhoods and on our section of the Monon Greenway between 101st Street and I-465. We are opposed to the addition of 47 lots to this neighborhood and the subsequent increases in people, traffic, noise, pollution, removal of mature trees, and destruction of wildlife habitat which will result. My signature on this petition represents my sworn oath that I am opposed to this Rezone application, Docket #13090013Z.
