Name: Shauna Lee on Jan 26, 2013Comments: As a condo owner in this building for 6 years, I am outraged at the disrespect shown to us by the new tenants in our commercial space, and their complete disregard of the laws of New York City. The noise, the trash, the congestion on the sidewalk at late hours are all terrible things for us to deal with. I now spend as much time away from my home there as possible, they have made it too unpleasant.Flag

Name: Christine Schwob on Jan 28, 2013Comments: Apartment 2D at Nolita Place is now virtually uninhabitable because of the noise from the nightclub Finale and from all the associated businesses run by the EMM group from the ground floor and basement property at 199 Bowery. EMM group is running operations from these premises that create noise levels which exceed code and are causing great stress to our family. The nightclub is disrupting our lives and the lives of other residents of Nolita Place to a totally unacceptable level and the EMM Group should be made to conform to the stipulations imposed by the Community Board which would offer at least some protection to the residents of Nolita Place.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Feb 5, 2013Comments: The Bowery is congested as it is, and being that it is near the Bowery/Delancey/Kenmare intersection, the trafffic will be a nightmare at night! We need to protect our neighborhood from the noise/air pollution!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Feb 5, 2013Comments: The traffic, the noise, and the type of people this venue attracts are all unsavory consequences of letting the amendments pass. Please don't turn our awesome neighborhood into Meat Packing 2.0. We should never let seedy nightlife companies try to pull a fast one on this community.Flag

Name: DJ Glass on Feb 5, 2013Comments: Unless the Community Board keeps the owners true to their word and their agreement, the Community Board will signal to any dishonest or unscrupulous applicant that there are in fact no rules under which one has to operate in order to obtain a license.Flag

Name: Meral Bozkurt on Feb 5, 2013Comments: Stop this madness. Why do the neighborhood residents have to spend all their time organizing, meeting, attending monthly meeting CB3 that last for hours, listening to the lies coming form the applicants, doing research about the applicants true intensions, spending money for babysitters, missing work just to have a decent "quality of Life" in out own neighborhood. I say join together and elect politicans that will work for the residents.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Feb 5, 2013Comments: EMM has hardly been in business in this location and yet it is already violating stipulations it agreed to.. It once again becomes the community's job to police a situation just to make the operators comply with what they promised...this application must be denied..Flag

Name: Jordan D. Smith on Feb 5, 2013Comments: As a resident in the immediate area (Orchard x Rivington), I am forced to endure wading through this sea of drunken fools on a near nightly basis, starting on Thursday and lasting through Sunday. It is ridiculous to even pretend that this was ever anything resembling a bakery. It is clear that this registration was entered in a deceitful fashion, and that this space was going to be used as a den of iniquity from the onset. What we need is for the Community Board to enforce the stipulations this 'business' agreed to. They did not apply for a dance space, and they should not be given one after the fact.Flag
