Get Panshanger Primary School A Pedestrian Crossing!

82 Signatures Goal: 100

We the undersigned call upon Welwyn Hatfield Council to allow for a pedestrian crossing on Daniells near to the entrance for Panshanger Primary School. This is a popular bus route and through road for a number of vehicles and therefore an entirely reasonable request given the average age of children expected to cross the road to get to and from school. We also ask that consideration be given to the extension of the zig zag lines prohibiting parking outside the school thereby giving the children a better field of vision. This area can become notoriously busy with parked cars and a considerable hazard.

My name is Ben Robinson and I am a parent to 2 Panshanger Primary School pupils. I have seen first hand a number of near misses outside our schools front gates and like so many parents there have asked the question.. 'Must we see a fatality before something is done??' Please feel free to contact me regarding the above on 07882 803627 or by email at robinson.b.s@hotmail.co.uk. Thanks.
