This is a petition in aid of Valve making the next (or maybe the one after, assuming the next is underway) CS:GO operation - Operation Nostalgia.
Revamp and bring back classic CS1.6/CSS maps! Avoid inordinately long community competitive queues! PLEASE Gaben! Show us you love us!

As someone who's never played cs 1.6 I would really like to see some csgo renditions of old 1.6 maps. The first time I saw a rerun of a championship on de_russka, I was made sad that there where so many good maps left out of csgo.
That would be a fun mission pack if done. Also, given the state of the game - things getting fixed, better balance, remakes of old maps and such - it would be a great initiative to bring the 1.6 and source players that are still unconvinced.
Sure, I already bought CS:GO, so you already have my money and thus have no reason to care. But the lack of classic maps is something that shocked me from my first time playing. It would be great to see the classics brought back and definitely mean I'd be playing a lot more than I currently am, which is not at all.
tuscan was my childhood. I lived on A bombsite. When i was little i walked to school through kitty, and all the way to tspawn, to not encounter enemy awpers in mid on my way to school.
As a long time 10 year CS player, i've missed some of these classic maps. cpl_mill was my jam back in the day. I miss it, but would love even to see a new Tuscan as it's basically a permutation of the same map layout. PLZ VALVE
