Name: Misty on Jul 18, 2011Comments: Not only would it be nice to see inside the barns they could also be put to work to have activities to raise money for creamer's field. Wouldn't an old fashion barn dance on a warm summer's night be so neat. It would really play into the "Home Town" feel that we strive to give the tourists and a Christmas Dance with horse drawn carriages for the locals. Heck, you could even do a haunted barn dance for Halloween. I think you could make lots of money with these ideas. Anything for my birds.Flag

Name: April E. Crosby on Aug 4, 2011Comments: I saw the inside of the big barn decades ago and have wondered how to preserve this incredibly beautiful resource and bit of history! It is important this this be opened to the public - there is too much of Creamers Field Refuge already being used for ADF and G buildings, storage, equipment, etc when it was given from this community for a wildlife refuge. Please - these buildings are a community treasure!Flag

Name: Susan McInnis on Aug 9, 2011Comments: Creamer’s Field Dairy, paths, forest, and barns are collectively a valuable space in Fairbanks, where historic structures and spaces fall frequently to disuse and redevelopment. To renovate, open, and celebrate the barns will be to give their history, along with the bird sanctuary, woods and walkways, to future Fairbanksens and visitors. The public, borough, state, and federal governments should support this effort fully.Flag
