As I'm certain many of you in the gaming world are aware, Capcom has cancelled Mega Man Legends 3, due to the project not meeting company-wide goals. They have, as of July 19, 2011, not released a official statement outside of the cancellation. Therefore I have created this petition to encourage Capcom to reboot the project, or at least give an official statement as to why it was scrapped. Mega Man Legends 3 was announced for the 3DS, first as a prototype build, and if sales of the prototype demanded it, a retail release. During the project, Capcom encouraged fans to send in ideas and vote upon others via Capcom-Unity. However, the prototype build was not even released, although it's possible that it's already been finished. Unlikely though, since it was promised in June. I have never played a game in the MML series, although I was anticipating like crazy. It is rumored that the departure of Keiji Inafune might have something to do with the cancellation, or maybe the 3DS isn't doing as well as hoped. But please, encourage Capcom that Mega Man is what the fans want, not Super Street Fighter IV Uber Hyper Turbo Alpha Arcade Ultra Epic Sweet Awesome Edition....IN 3D!!!! I will do my best to promote this petition so that we can truly heard. Please sign this petition for a game we've waited very patiently for. -ResidentEpic81
