Name: Thomas Domitrovich on Mar 11, 2010Comments: It would seem to me that with one of the biggest problems facing our country and it's economy today being jobs or lack of them that this is something that should require little or no thought. At this point it does not require any influx of money from the state, no need for a new committee to be formed and not a huge amount of time. As elected officials I feel it is your moral and fiscal responsibility to use the power we as voters empowered you with to pressure these people to allow the residents of Ontonagon a chance to save the employment anchor we have had for over 100 years.Flag

Name: Karen Winters on Mar 11, 2010Comments: Haven't lived there in years but was born and raised there in 1972. Over the years I bring my children to the UP to visit their grandparents. This land it so beautiful! It is truely sad to see that there isn't one large company left to work in, in Ontonagon County. There are no kids for my kids to play with. It's almost like a ghost town.Flag
