Hydro in Ontario is totally out of control. No one in Ontario should be paying the ridiculous prices that hydro is charging. Our hydro bills have gone up excessively, despite the fact all our appliances are gas, all our lights are on a dimmer switch, Our House is not air conditioned. We did a survey. For one month, we did not turn on lights, used candles, to boot, etc., while hydro consumption was way down, the delivery charges were way up. The next month we kept all the lights on, consumption was way up and the delivery charges were way down. What is going on. There are real horror stories going on in Ontario today. Surely, there must be something that can be done. I even had our meter checked only to be told there was nothing wrong, but i was charged an additional $35.00 for such a service. We are being ripped off and ripped off big time.

The momentum is building because we are all tired of being fleeced by these greedy utility companies. Hydro is manipulating our bills while we struggle to keep the lights on and their blatant theft will not continue unchallenged.

This is criminal. I know seniors who are sitting in the dark just to save a few bucks. Fix this mess.
Living in a studio apartment and my hydro cost more than my groceries. SOMETHING HAS TO CHANGE.
sick of choosing between heat and food during the winter. get it together ontario
The delivery charge makes no sense. I barely use any power but they still find ways to bleed us dry. Tired of this.
My bill is higher than my mortgage some months. How are people supposed to live like this? Absolute robbery.

Same thing happened to me with the meter check. They just take your money and tell you everything is fine. What a joke.
