We, as residents of Davie County, support the construction of ONE new high school, centrally located, to serve the current and future educational needs of students in Davie County, North Carolina. We, as residents of Davie County, understand that there will be a price associated with the construction of ONE new high school for Davie County, but also realize and support the exploration of alternative funding options (i.e. sales tax referendum, property tax referendum, lottery funds, etc.). We, as residents of Davie County, believe that the current site of Davie High School can have alternate uses (i.e. community center, youth athletic complex, etc.) that can continue to serve our community for years to come. We, as residents of Davie County, believe the construction of ONE new high school, centrally located, can be an opportunity to unite our community as we work to provide a new home for the Davie County War Eagles.
