We, the undersigned, call upon the British Secretary of State for Culture, Media, Sport and the Olympics, to enter into talks with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Channel 4 and British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB) to create a joint tender for future Olympic and Paralympic Games broadcast bids. The tender should be arranged so that the BBC can show Winter and Summer Olympics free to air on all platforms, Channel 4 can show Winter and Summer Paralympics free to air on all platforms and BskyB would be able to show either or both Olympics and Paralympics on the Sky platform (and given the option to charge if they so wish) thus enabling all people to have a chance to see all the Olympic and Paralympic competitions on their screens.
