Quincy Park Volleyball Court is one of the most sought after places to play beach volleyball in the DC Area. People come from as far as Silver Spring just to play. With that in mind rather than have people spend hours waiting to play it would be more beneficial for Arlington Park and Recreation to let residents reserve the field for specific times. Arlington County Park and Recreation must no longer keep the Quincy Park Volleyball Court a "Drop in Facility." Hundreds of Arlingtonians have long looked for outdoor volleyball league to play in and have always come up short. Now is the time to allow leagues and reservations. This is benefiting the Park and Recreation Department with revenue and it will satisfy the needs and wants of residents of Arlington, an outdoor volleyball league. Most of the facilities in Arlington are capable of being reserved, this should be no different. Allow reservations or permit use for the Quincy Park Volleyball Court for league play.
