| 402 | David Morris | I live in town - dont hear the swan but constantly hear the ruddy night clubs. Good luck Swan |
| 403 | Jennie Rogers | The Old Swan is the best live music venue in Wrexham, enhanced by the outdoor environment. A safe, friendly venue with a wonderfully eclectic crowd and programme of music, The Old Swan is a credit to Wrexham. Please allow them to continue to entertain and allow us to enjoy the pleasure of spending time there. Thank you. |
| 404 | James Beckett | Keep the swan live music alive its essential to wrexham's cultural status for developing new music acts. |
| 405 | Anonymous | Wrexham needs more Live music venues . The town has become engulfed by overpriced bars which do nothing but encouraging Binge drinking. The Old Swan is one of the last real pubs in the town. KEEP IT REAL, KEEP IT LIVE. |

| 408 | stuart pagan | this is a disgrace been a regular at swan for 30 years and whilst might not agree with current tastes in music will allways stand by there choice to play and or hear it |
| 409 | Leon Hesketh | The Old Swan is a great venue to play at, and holds alot of opportunity for bands to play there music to a great audiance, having played there a couple of times with our band im sad that this has been stopped, there is not a great deal of places where as a band you can play your music! why is it that other bars may have dj's playing dance music just as loud as the old swan would have there band/dj's but because we dont wear shirts and shoes and enjoy dance music fuelled by cheap alcopops binge drinking and violence, why should we suffer? this is a typical case of fat money making companies driving away buisiness for the smaller pubs and its such a shme that it is allowed to happen, please please allow us to play music outside so we can once again carry on with the great performing art which is music. | 410 | Beth Hutchison | You wouldn't get a petition like this for Yates's because they're ten a penny. There's nothing else like the Swan in Wrexham and this largely due to to what they are now banned from doing. Without it we're just another characterless, carbon copy of every wine-bar parade across the country. Surely we need more of what the Swan offers, not less, if we are to maintain diversity and stand out from the crowd. If you live or work in a town centre, expect noise. At least at the Swan the sounds of good folk having a great time rather than durnken brawls and domestics which is all I heard when I lived up by Lloyds and Yates's. Honestly, where's the logic? |

| 417 | sarah | the old swan is a great place for people in wrexham to enjoy music and socialise, i think whiney neighbours should get over it in all honesty.. if you dont like the noise then move? who would move into or live next to a pub and not expect it to be somewhat loud?
i spose they want us to whisper next.. im behind the swan on this one! |

| 425 | Peter Derrick | The members of the council depend on the electorate for their seats. I suggest that if your councillor does not support the Wrexham music scene that you all offer your full support to candidates who will at the next local elections. In the meantime get as many people as you can to E mail your local councillor regarding this issue. |
| 426 | Lucy Cowley | gutted that it's been stopped, the swan live music is the best thing to happen to wrexham in a long time. everyone is catered for and it provided a unique experience for people to get up close to the bands on and off stage and truly enhance the music experience. to ban this would play a part in destroying the alternative music scene in wrexham taking buisness out of wrexham to places like Liverpool. not only wrexham would lose out but North Wales as well.
as you can see, i am a strong supporter of all the hard work they have put into organising great nights and bringing in talent from all over the nation famous and not. |

| 445 | The Venom Seeds | We played last year at the Old Swan in Wrexham and met lovely people who play a crucial role in promoting bands and interesting music. We need, as musicians, the Old Swan to reoppen and carry on offering people musical experiences to audiences . Venom Seeds from London support you, guys. Good luck! x |
