| 1 | Tina Griffiths | Keep Old Swan as it is.. |
| 2 | Dave Morait | This is one of the best live music venues in the country the bands need venues like this, without venues like this the wrexham music/arts seen will be no more. |
| 3 | Gareth Jones | IF you let my band play :p (www.myspace.com/stokoztomoscow)
I'd like to think you owe me after my 21st Birthday incident :p
I digress...best of luck Moz. |
| 4 | Bethan Hughes | The Old Swan is a vital venue for showcasing young (and not so young) talent from not just North Wales, but all over the UK. Artists from almost every genre benefit from being given the opportunity to build a fan base by playing there, and it's sad that some people are so petty and single minded that they want to stop such a positive event from going ahead! |

| 8 | christonabike | Its obvious that the Wrexham County Council have taken a bung from the business next door! They have influenced a decision to stop the music, this is blatantly obvious when there wasn't a issue when the old club was vacant for over 7 years!
Nice one Wrexham County Council for letting money own decision making and letting your staff put beer and profit before music and culture, yet another case of Wrexham selling its soul to the devil of properly and business development
P.s the only thing about wrexham worth going to is the Old Swan,
"THE MUSIC IS AWESOME! THIS TOWN HAS NEVER SEEN THE LIKES OF SUCH PROGRESS IN THE ART OF LIVE MUSICAL ACTS!
REMEMBER WHEN WREXHAM WAS JUST A TOWN FULL OF DRUNKS WELL BECAUSE OF THE OLD SWAN THE TOWN HAD MUSIC TOO!
VIVA LA OLD SWAN!!!!!!!!!!!!" |
| 9 | mike noble | the swan has been a home for me for the last yr or so a pub where everyone knows your name, its the friendliest place i know, its the only pub in town that provides such a diversity in music giving new up and coming bands a chance to play as well as some great bands from around the country more recently them is me, without he outdoor licsence there is no scope for this to happen as ther is not enough space inside, the pub will lose a hefty amount of money and we all fear we will lose the place we all love |

| 21 | sean medvid-staunton | i have lived all around the uk ,my home is now in wrexham, the old swan is probably the best venue for north wales bands on their stepping stone to greatness that currently exists in the whole region,it should be encouraged not restricted |
| 22 | Richie Coppack | This will be a sad loss for the North Wales music scene if a licence is not granted. There are very few venues like the Swan that offer a stage for original and diverse Art/Music. |
| 23 | Barry olland | Crackin outdoor courtyard, top atmosphere! |
| 24 | Delwyn Derrick | The Old Swan is at the heart of Wrexhams music scene, to stop the music there would be a travesty. |
| 25 | David Schwarz | The Old Swan is at the heart of Wrexhams music scene, to stop the music there would be a travesty. |

| 28 | Anonymous | The old swan is important to many people in wrexham and beyond as their live music venue and friendly meeting place, please don't put it's future in question, Wrexham would not be Wrexham without the swan. It's the friendliest most non pretentious place in town. |
| 29 | Ben Trow | THE SWAN NEEDS TO HAVE LIVE MUSIC!!!!! |
| 30 | paul griffiths | |
| 31 | matthew whitehouse | long live the swan

| 32 | martyn coppack | it is a clear case of discrimination against people who like the alternative lifestyle and another example of big money business taking over. Once again we are faced with losing not just wrexhams premier music venue but also losing one of the last REAL pubs left in town. Due to jealous clubs (you know who who you are!!!) we are faced with this. This is only going to be a bad thing for wrexham and we need to stand up and fight for our rights to have a place where we can go and support our local music scene in a FRIENDLY atmosphere (not one where bouncers will try to give you a kicking at the first sign of dancing) and also meet like-minded people who are broadminded enough to respect people as they are. If we were having to call the police every weekend because of trouble in the pub then fair enough but as everybody knows we dont attract that crowd and so they are left to fight on the street outside next to our friendly taxi office and our lovely new neighbours. it also stinks that this is happening a couple of weeks after another venue in town has been granted a late night music license and another applying at the moment.
SAVE OUR SWAN!!! |
| 33 | Mike Williams | The Old Swan is home to Selectro. We have built many friendships on the Swan Terrace, playing upfront and unusual electronic music not normally heard in the mainstream. As have other bands and Djs with their own brands of music. To loose the outdoor music license would be a heavy blow to the people who enjoy this variety and to business. This cannot happen!
Mikey - Selectro founder |
| 34 | pablo minki | i got no where else to go!! |
| 35 | Claire Cooke | The most forward thinking and friendly place in wrexham, it would be a great loss to the town if it were forced to shut down. We should be encouraging diversity, not trying to stop it |
| 36 | carla threlfal | i got no where else to go!! |
| 37 | Ben Davis | |
| 38 | Nathan Lloyd Rogers | The old Swan Abott Road, must be given its outdoor music licence back. The Wrexham music scene needs to a venue of its calibre to accomodate for upcomming bands and artists. |

| 46 | Anonymous | please dont take the hub of music culture from wrexham, theres not much in wrexham thats honest and good , nobody petitions to close the night clubs where all the violence happens, i have been going to the swan/brady's for years and i have never seen any trouble there. thanks. SAVE THE SWAN!!!:) |
| 47 | Nicola Carr | MMMMMMMM neighbouring businesses is that Letage then as no one's complained before have they?
