hi everyone as we all no okehampton is in need of an indoor activity center. As most of us are aware the skate park is in need of a face lift and the council are looking in to funding a project but this would be outside. As we all no okehampton is very cold, rainy and wet in the winter. I have come up with an idea to have an indoor SKATE/ BMX/SCOOTER area also a soft play area as well. I am hoping everyone will back this idea as it would benefit okehampton in so many ways.It would be very friendly and safe environment for are children and teenagers. I will be attending all the local school to ask the children what they would most get fun out of and to come up with other ideas. I no that a lot of people can not afford cars and as their is not alot of public transport find it hard to take there children far away from okehampton. what i need from everyone is to join the group and past this on so i have the support of everyone to start this project and volunteers to help manage to bring this town together.
